Obituary for Edwin James Zepp

It is with great sadness that the family of Edwin James Zepp, 71, announces his passing. Eddie passed
away peacefully at his home in Danboro (Doylestown), Pennsylvania after battling many health issues on
Friday, September 25, 2020. He was surrounded by his three daughters, Jamie Zepp, Kathleen Zepp,
Jennifer Zepp and dear friend Susan (Amberg) Zepp.

Eddie was born on January 22, 1949, in Langhorne, Pennsylvania. He was the first of nine children born
to Edwin Harold and Margaret Lucy (Nottingham) Zepp. Ed worked hard all his life. He was an employee
of Penn Engineering as a Tapper. Ed would often be seen mowing his lawn, riding his tractor or sitting on
his front porch. He loved the outdoors especially hunting, freshwater fishing and deep-sea fishing. In
his younger years he enjoyed riding his motorcycle and boating on the Delaware River, going to Atlantic
City and taking vacations to the shore. He was an avid fan of the Philadelphia Eagles and Phillies. He
loved the music of Billy Joel, especially the song “The River of Dreams”. He lived life to the fullest and
was a straight shooter. He loved to make everyone laugh and laugh you did. Eddie loved to buy his
weekly lottery tickets in hopes of winning the BIG ONE! “Big Zeppy" was a LEGEND!!

Survivors include his three daughters Jamie Zepp, Kathleen Zepp and Jennifer Zepp. He is the beloved
Pop Pop to 5 grandchildren Johnny, Nate, Angelo, Conner, Willis Junior and two grand doggies Macy
Mae and AJ. His siblings Patricia Zepp, Charles Zepp, Jeannie (Zepp) Halko, Frances (Zepp) and Edward
Nobles, Dorothy (Zepp) and James Bumgarner, Robert and Eva Zepp, and Linda (Zepp) and James
Sheehan, also his Uncle Joseph and Aunt Charlotte Nottingham. Ed will also be forever remembered by
his numerous nieces, nephews and greats, cousins, extended family and dear friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents Edwin and Margaret Zepp, and his sister Margaret Zepp. He
will be dearly missed but we know he is happy being reunited with all of his heavenly family.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

To continue Ed’s legacy of fishing and enjoying the great outdoors, memorial contributions to
https://www.midatlanticyouthanglers.com would be greatly appreciated.
