I had Mrs. Monaghan as a teacher at GMC for several classes and we kept in touch for a while after I graduated in 2004. She has never been far from my thoughts though and I am sad that I did not get to see her or talk to her one last time. Mrs. Monaghan and I had a special relationship. She believed in me when I could not believe in myself and I learned so much from her. She was a fascinating lady and I owe my success as a 15 year teacher to her.
